Poem #1 - Silver Tightly Wound

IMG_1366.JPG

Thoughts on the naiveté of the photographer.

A poem that came to me as I was developing negatives one day.

Silver

Tightly wound

In a box in his hands

Ready to react

When he chooses to act

Upon his instinct, experience,

Chance.

The silver alchemist

In his lonely room

Believes he has stopped time.

Ha.

Apparitions in the dark.
